The position at the Institut für Rechtsmedizin (Director: Professor Dr. med. Marcel A. Verhoff) is to be filled by August 1, 2024.

Your role

You are the organisational hub of the EU-funded NAT-URAL TRACES research consortium.

For example, you are responsible for:

  • Meeting milestones and deadlines for project deliverables
  • Coordinating the training of the doctoral students
  • Planning, organising and following up board meetings
  • Organisation and coordination of the project website
  • Public relations
  • Monitoring of financial resources

Who you are

  • You have a degree and PhD in biology
  • You will have experience of designing and evaluating scientific studies in the field of non-human biological traces, in particular soil organisms and insects.
  • You have experience in project management and leading groups of people
  • You are friendly and open-minded, flexible and work in a committed and responsible manner.
  • You enjoy working as part of a team.
  • You are proficient in MS Office and have very good written and spoken English skills.
  • Due to legal regulations, valid proof of measles immunity / measles vaccination is required.
